Livebinders are essential in student learning especially when it comes to organization. However, in my classroom I think it would be great to have in the high school level. I will be teaching 9^th grade mathematics, and livebinders will be imperative to use because it will help save time. When I was doing my student teaching I realized that teachers that used livebinders in the classroom, allowed the parents to see how their kids were doing and also see what assignment their kids have turned in. This is essential when working with students and parents, because we can integrate the parents as a team. Also it features a lot of security features that can protect the students’ work and assignments so they are not deleted. I think for 9^th grade math this is great because livebinders allows you to use videos, and even research other notes so that you can expand the knowledge that the students learn. This means that students have the capacity to provide collaborations to the lesson, so that this way the students that do not understand can catch up. For my classroom, I think that this would need to be moderated so that the live binders applications can be used constructively and so that the students do not lose track of the assignment and zone away from the purpose of the lesson.  An example for a lesson I would use live binders for would be with critical thinking problems, such as word problems. I would include a brief history of were a certain mathematical formula orginated, such as the Pythagorean theorem, and I could use live binders to show videos and pictures of the culture of Pythagoras and his philosophy. It is a very stand-alone application because I can include grades, and the entire course assignments. This if used correctly can help the student and teacher save time, as well as reduce the amount of stress in the classroom by both the teacher and student. This can also help the teacher show the principal or parents the assignments that have been done, as well as the course participation from the students. This will not feel like work for the students, they will be very engaging and will be having fun. This is possible because the amount of tools available by livebinders. We must be creative and allow students to also be creative with their assignments. This will help increment student engaging, as teachers we still have to guide them.
